Sunday, March 23: Waverly High School standout Ian Lanik’s college team wins to Newman Jets

On Sunday, March 23, former Waverly High School standout Ian Lanik’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.

The game took place at Glennen Field. This was their third matchup against the Jets this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Larks Park against Fort Hays State Tigers.
