James Schmidt, former Waverly High School standout, played on Sunday, March 16 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Sunday, March 16, former Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 18-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Sul Ross State Lobos.

The game took place at Wilder Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 5 p.m. at Dobson Baseball Field against Oklahoma Christian Eagles.
