Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Sunday, March 16

On Sunday, March 16, former Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Sul Ross State Lobos.

The game took place at Wilder Park. This was their third matchup against the Lobos this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. at Wilder Park against Sul Ross State Lobos.
