Sunday, March 9: Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s college team loses to UT Tyler Patriots

On Sunday, March 9, former Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UT Tyler Patriots.

The game took place at Irwin Field. This was their second matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 5:05 p.m. at Irwin Field against UT Tyler Patriots.
