Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Saturday, Feb. 15

On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Waverly High School standout James Schmidt’s current college team, the West Texas A&M Buffaloes, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.

The game took place at Wilder Park. This was their second matchup against the Greyhounds this season.

The Buffaloes’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15 at 4 p.m. at Wilder Park against Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds.
