On Friday, Feb. 7, former Waverly High School standout Ian Lanik’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ouachita Baptist Tigers.

The game took place at Rab Rodgers Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. at Clyde Berry Field against Southern Arkansas Muleriders.
