2022: 25 coaches at institution in Franklin County earned on average $27,325

Franklin County’s 25 coaches earned an average salary of $27,325 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the fourth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Kansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Franklin County is home to just one post-secondary school which paid coaches during 2022.

Male coaches of men's teams received $27,374 on average in Franklin County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $27,279.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
