3.3% of citizens unemployed in Lyon County in 2021

Lyon County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 598 people out of the 32,318 living in Lyon County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Lyon County has decreased compared to the 4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Lyon County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 17,314 people who had a job during that time, 77 were employed in the Armed Forces and 17,237 belonged to the civilian labor force.
