4.3% of Coffey County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Coffey County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 181 people out of the 8,361 living in Coffey County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Coffey County has decreased compared to the 4.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Coffey County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.
