Hounds go 2-0

The Hounds make a clean sweep of St Mary's JV and Link Year Prep. The Hounds will play one more game before they go enjoy Christmas with their families.

The Hounds started with taking on the Spires of St Mary's. The Hounds started off hot and came out to a 10-point lead and never looked back. The Hounds shot an impressive 55% from the field, 33% from three and 87% from the line. The Hounds cruised to a 17-point win with contributions from everyone. The final from St Mary's was 87-70.

The Hounds were led by Clance Crosby with a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Keryn Collins saw his first action and contributed right away with a double-double of his own with 17 points 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Baker Beal had a strong showing with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Andre Norris continued his hot streak with 16 points and 5 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Hounds then took on Link Year Prep out of Branson Missouri. This prep school is one of the best prep basketball schools in the country. The Hounds came out with a slow start going shot for shot with the Lions. Coach Cochran called a crucial time out with 11 minutes remaining in the half and the hounds responded by going on an 14-4 run.

The Hounds ended the first half with some lock down defense and went on some runs leading the lions at half time 42-27.

The Hounds came out in the second half with their foot on the gas and kept up with a strong offensive attack, highlighting the attack was a windmill breakaway dunk by Clance Crosby to put the game away. FSCC won the game 90-72 for their second win of the week.

The Hounds were led by Andre Norris with 33 points and 5 steals. Clance Crosby had another double- double with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Baker Beal stayed consistent like he has all season with 15 points and 3 rebounds. Sean Franklin was the clean up man on the glass recording 13 rebounds and 9 points.

FSCC Basketball will be back in action on Friday night at Arnold with a 5:00 tip off with Kansas Christian College JV.
