Troutman named AVCA second-team All-American

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced its 45-member All-America team for the 2022 season, and Johnson County sophomore outside hitter Jadyn Troutman was selected to the second-team.  She is the ninth player in team history be selected as an AVCA All-American. The 45 players represent all three National Junior College Athletic Association divisions, the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) and the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC) 

Earlier this week, Troutman was named to the NJCAA D-II All-America first-team, becoming the 15fh player to be selected to the first-team. 

Troutman led the team and ranked fifth in the conference with 402 kills this season, an average of 3.24 per set. That total also ranks her 11th on JCCC 's season chart. She also ranks second in conference and 15th in the NJCAA with a .347 kill percentage. She leads the conference in total blocks with 168, which also ranks fifth in the NJCAA.  She reached double figures for kills in a match 24 times this season, with a high of 16 against Parkland in final game at nationals. During the regular season Troutman was honored as the KJCCC Offensive Player of the Week three times, earing the selection in week one, five and seven. She was also selected first-team All-KJCCC D-II and All-Region 6/Plains District.  For her career she tallied 715 kills, fourth all-time at JCCC, 275 blocks and 250 block assists, 12th and seventh respectively all-time.
