Slobodan Novicevic of the Ottawa University men's soccer team was named the week six KCAC Offensive player of the week. It's the first KCAC weekly honor for the OU men's soccer team this season, and the first of Novicevic's career.
Novicevic left a major footprint in both games this week, scoring four goals and dishing out one assist in wins against Tabor and Avila. Novicevic scored the game-winning goal on an 84th-minute penalty kick in the Braves' 3-2 win over Tabor at home. He followed with his first career hat-trick, scoring three goals in a 4-1 road win at Avila.
Novicevic now ranks second in the KCAC with 10 goals so far this season. Ottawa has a 1-2 punch atop the KCAC goalscoring leaderboards, with Novicevic alongside Bence Molnar's KCAC leading 12 goals. Novicevic also has five assists this season, ranking third in the KCAC.
