Hornets open the season on Thursday
For the first time since 2019 Emporia State will open the season with a Thursday night home game when they take on Northeastern State. The Hornets will play host to the RiverHawks on September 1 on Jones Field at Welch Stadium on the Emporia State campus. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
