Osage County Fair Parade – 

The Osage City Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Osage County Fair Parade. All floats or other entries are welcomed in the parade which travels from west to east on Osage City’s Market Street, ending downtown. The 2022 parade  is Friday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m..  Entry form is here.  Read the full parade information here.

In conjunction with the Fair Parade, there will also be the “Kids Decorated Bicycle Parade”.  It will be open to children up to age 12. Decorate their bike, wagon, power wheel or scooter. Participants wear their helmet. Children under 6 years must be accompanied by an adult.  The parade will begin at Lincoln Park, parade line up is at 6:00 p.m. and the parade begins at 6:15 p.m. The parade will end at 7th & Market. Prizes will be given to decorated entries. Fair Entertainment Schedule

Besides the 4-H Fair Events, be sure to come out and participate in the various events which are included in the Entertainment schedule.

Thursday, July 7th  – 3-9:00 p.m.  — 5 Large Inflatables for all ages; Jousting Pit & Climbing Wall located at the Jones Park area;   6:30 Pie Baking Contest will be held in the Community Building.

Friday, July 8th – 6:30 p.m. — Parade, Blue Jeans and Country Dreams is the theme; 7:30-9:30 – Bingo, sponsored by the Saint Patrick Altar Society will be held in the Community Building; enjoy live music with the “Free Range Chicken” Band from 8:00-11:00 p.m.; 10:00 will be the Fireworks Display.

Saturday, July 9th  — 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. – the Osage County Sheriff Department will sponsor a Barnyard Olympics  and Ident-A-Kid booth at the Jones Park area; 12:00-3:00 — Touch-A-Truck, sponsored by the Osage County Farm Bureau Association will be located at the parking lot of the football/track stadium; concluding the entertainment will be a Corn-Hole tournament inside the Exhibit Building (the old skating rink).

Be sure to mark your calendar for the Osage City annual community fireworks display Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Jones Park Area.     The celebration will start at 10:00.
