Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Flint Hills Technical College

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Flint Hills Technical College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas students paid $6,040 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 87 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 56 students received grants or scholarships totaling $221,321 and 35 students took out student loans totaling more than $164,653.

Including all undergraduates (1,425), 593 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.3 million, and 256 students took out $1.5 million in federal student loans.
