Cost of college went up for all students at Ottawa University-Ottawa

Tuition and fees rose 5.3 percent for 2018-19 at Ottawa University-Ottawa, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kansas students paid $30,050 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,500 more than the $28,550 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 202 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.4 million and 188 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.6 million.

Including all undergraduates (754), 671 students used grants or scholarships totaling $12.3 million, and 610 students took out $4.9 million in federal student loans.
