78 percent of applicants to Ottawa University-Ottawa were admitted for fall 2018

At Ottawa University-Ottawa, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 58 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Ottawa enrolled 754 students in fall 2018, including 706 in undergraduate and 48 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

32 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kansas, and 47 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (54 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 357 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 87 percent enrolled.
